Woodham and New Haw Horticultural Club
WNHCC have recently reinvented themselves from being a Club whose main function was Sunday morning trading from a site at the New Haw Community Centre, with, additionally, winter and spring evening meetings, to a Club that relies totally on social activities. They have monthly Friday evening meetings, [usually, but not invariably, due to immovable factors, the first of the month] at the NHCC, starting at 8pm. At each meeting, usually with varied gardening topics, we offer free refreshments and there is a raffle. Most members often very experienced gardeers, are keen and happy to give friendly advice, and, once a year, we have a 'Gardener's Question Time'.
Day trips are also planned, with several interesting tours planned for the summer, by coach.
We welcome new members; information can be obtained by contacting M Smith 01932 799697, or from the NHCC website --www.newhawcc.co.uk, following the links to 'What's On' and click on 'Horticultural' Section'.
